Freelance Services I Offer:

1. UX Audit of your digital product or website:

A UX audit is an evaluation of your site or app in regard to user experience - how easy it is for users to navigate and understand the content, etc.

According to Toptal, 90% of users won’t return to a site, solely due to poor user experience.

According to the Baynard Institute, 70% of online shoppers abandon their cart at checkout.

That’s a lot of revenue lost! If you are selling a product or have a specific goal in mind, let’s talk about your goals and how a UX audit can help solve specific issues.

What I Can Provide:

Video Audit - I will create a video recording (screenshare) using your site or product. Screen by screen, I will thoroughly examine each element and provide recommendations based on current research and UX best practices. Where applicable, I will point you to those resources if you want to learn more.

Written Report - I will provide a detailed report alongside the video, with each issue found organized by priority - low, medium, or high. I will point out critical issues so that you can prioritize possible fixes, and I will explain possible repercussions/implications if those issues are not fixed.

A UX Audit does not take long to complete (depending on how many screens you have) so it is a quick, low cost option for startups and small businesses. Once the audit is finished, your business can decide what you want to change or edit based on what you learned from the audit  - it's totally up to you.

Examples of UX audits I have conducted - most are videos between 30-45 minutes long:

Maka Health:

Healthcare startup transforming the functional wellness space

Mariposa Alliance:

Los Angeles based organization providing services to foster children

Vector Atomic:

Company creating quantum technology, based in northern CA

2. User Interface Designs in Figma:

I can craft aesthetically pleasing designs for your digital product or website using Figma, that adhere to accessibility guidelines and UX best practices. If you have an existing product, I can ensure that the designs fit into your current brand and style. For new products, together we can look at your business goals, user base, and style ideas, and create something magical. I also have experience creating design systems, and this can be explored if you wish to standardize UI components across your entire product.

I will create sketches, wireframes and eventually hi-fidelity mockups and finished designs. At each stage of the process, I will get your feedback and make iterations. The final Figma files can be handed off to a developer for coding and implementation.

I have experience conducting user interviews and extensive user testing at every stage, to make sure users can navigate the final design. This includes testing sketches, wireframes and hi-fi prototypes through usability testing. I highly recommend including this in the process.

3. Competitive Analysis and/or SWOT Analysis:

A SWOT Analysis is a fact based assessment of a business or organization. The assessment will identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the business. To perform the analysis, I will meet with various stakeholders in your organization, compile data, research your business, and the industry itself. I will compile a written report with my findings, and I can also provide a recorded video presentation of the findings as well.

A competitive analysis involves researching direct competitors of your business or organization, and assessing items such as their marketing strategy, usability of the website/product, strengths and weaknesses, etc. I will provide a written report of my findings, and a video recording to display aspects of competitor websites and discuss their elements. This will help you better position your product/business within the market.
